Reasons for blue
- A meowing dog would be hilarious
Imagine a big golden retriever running to the door and going “meow.” That would make everyone laugh.
- Dogs are still playful and loyal
Even if it meows, it is still a dog. It can fetch, wag its tail, go on walks, and be excited to see you.
- It might be less noisy
A dog that meows might be quieter than a dog that barks, which parents might like.
- It would confuse strangers
People would hear “meow,” look for a cat, and then see a dog. That is comedy gold.
Reasons for red
- A barking cat could guard the house
Imagine a tiny cat sitting in the window barking at the mailman. Very intimidating. Sort of.
- Cats already act like bosses
A cat that barks would seem even more confident, like it is trying to run the whole neighborhood.
- It would be a great prank pet
Guests would hear barking and expect a dog, then a tiny cat walks in. Instant confusion.
- It might scare away other animals
A cat that barks could make birds, squirrels, or other cats think, “Absolutely not, I’m leaving.”
